Terms and Conditions

HAIR The Movement NextGen Mentoring Program

These Terms & Conditions apply to enrolment in the HAIR The Movement NextGen Mentoring Program (“NextGen”), operated by Sharon Blain Education / HAIR The Movement.

By enrolling in NextGen, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Program Overview

NextGen is a six-month online mentoring program created for apprentices and emerging hairdressers.

The program includes:

  • 12 live online mentoring sessions

  • Access to industry mentors across areas including cutting, colour, styling, consultation, business, barbering, career development and more.

  • Live Q&A opportunities

  • Access to session replays through the NextGen Members Area

  • Access to the NextGen online program content for the nominated access period

The program is scheduled to commence on 12 October 2026 and conclude in March 2027.

All session dates and times are listed in Sydney, Australia time. Participants joining internationally are responsible for checking the corresponding time in their location.

2. Program Fee

The total fee for the NextGen Mentoring Program is AUD $145.

Participants may choose from the payment options made available at the time of enrolment, which may include:

  • Payment of the full program fee upfront; or

  • Five monthly instalments of AUD $29.

All prices are displayed in Australian dollars.

3. Instalment Payments

If you select the instalment payment option, you are committing to payment of the full $145 program fee.

The instalment option is a payment plan for the complete NextGen program and is not a month-to-month membership.

All scheduled instalments remain payable once you have enrolled, subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

If a scheduled payment fails, we may contact you and attempt to process the outstanding payment again.

Access to NextGen, including the Members Area, live session information and replay content, may be suspended if payments remain outstanding.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Please choose carefully before enrolling.

Except where required under Australian Consumer Law, program fees and instalments already paid are non-refundable for change of mind, failure to attend live sessions or failure to access the available program content.

Choosing not to continue participating in the program does not automatically cancel any outstanding instalment obligations.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any rights or remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Live Sessions

NextGen sessions are delivered online and are generally approximately 60 minutes in duration, although session lengths may vary.

Participants are responsible for ensuring they have a suitable device, internet connection and access to the required online platform.

HAIR The Movement is not responsible for a participant's inability to attend or access a session due to personal circumstances, internet connection issues, device problems or other technical issues outside our reasonable control.

6. Session Replays

Where a session is recorded, the replay will be made available through the NextGen Members Area.

Replays are provided so participants can revisit sessions or catch up if they are unable to attend live.

Participants will have access to all available session replays throughout the six-month program and for an additional three months following the completion of the program. After this three-month period, access to the NextGen program, Members Area and session replays will end.

Participants must not download, record, reproduce, distribute, share, sell or publicly display NextGen session recordings or program materials unless written permission has been provided by HAIR The Movement.

7. Program Schedule and Mentors

While every effort will be made to deliver the program as advertised, session dates, times, topics, mentors and program content may occasionally need to change due to circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If a mentor becomes unavailable, HAIR The Movement reserves the right to reschedule the session, adjust the program schedule or provide a suitable replacement mentor or session.

Any significant changes will be communicated to enrolled participants as soon as reasonably possible.

8. Participant Access

Your NextGen enrolment and Members Area access are for your individual use only.

Login details, replay links, Zoom links and other program access information must not be shared with another person.

HAIR The Movement reserves the right to suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe program content or login information has been shared without permission.

9. Participant Conduct

NextGen is designed to provide a positive, respectful and supportive learning environment.

Participants are expected to communicate respectfully with mentors, other participants and the HAIR The Movement team.

HAIR The Movement reserves the right to remove a participant from live sessions, community areas or the program where there is serious or repeated inappropriate, abusive, discriminatory, disruptive or threatening behaviour.

10. Intellectual Property

All NextGen content, including videos, recordings, education materials, graphics, downloads, presentations, techniques and other resources provided as part of the program remain the intellectual property of HAIR The Movement, Sharon Blain Education and/or the relevant mentor or content owner.

Program content is provided for the participant's personal education and professional development only.

Content must not be copied, reproduced, distributed, resold, uploaded, published or used to create commercial education or training materials without prior written permission from the relevant rights holder.

11. Educational Information

NextGen is an educational and mentoring program.

The information, techniques, opinions and guidance shared by mentors are provided for educational purposes and reflect their professional experience and perspective.

Participation in NextGen does not guarantee employment, career advancement, business results, income or any other specific professional outcome.

Participants remain responsible for how they apply the information and techniques provided throughout the program.

12. Photography and Recording

Live sessions may be recorded for replay and program purposes.

13. International Participants

NextGen is available to participants internationally.

All program times are communicated in Sydney, Australia time unless otherwise stated.

Participants outside Australia are responsible for checking local session times, currency conversion, payment provider charges and any other costs associated with participating from their location.

14. Privacy

Personal information collected during enrolment and participation in NextGen will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.

Information may be used where reasonably necessary to administer the program, process payments, communicate with participants and provide access to NextGen content and services.

15. Changes to the Program

HAIR The Movement may make reasonable changes to the delivery, structure, schedule or content of NextGen where required.

Where a significant change affects enrolled participants, we will communicate the change as soon as reasonably practicable.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, HAIR The Movement and Sharon Blain Education are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from participation in the program or reliance on program content.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

17. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing or enrolling in the NextGen Mentoring Program, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

If an enrolment is purchased on behalf of another participant, the purchaser is responsible for ensuring the participant is made aware of these Terms & Conditions.
