About Jean Baptiste Santens
Jean-Baptiste Santens is a visionary hair artist celebrated for transforming hair into high art. His career began in the competitive hairdressing arena, where he became World Champion in Chicago (2008) and Supreme World Champion in Paris (2010).
Drawn to the world of fashion, he worked backstage at global runway shows alongside icons such as Guido Palau, Sam McKnight and Eugène Souleiman. Inspired by the Queer movement, Jean-Baptiste discovered a passion for wig artistry, creating bold and expressive pieces that have been featured on RuPaul’s Drag Race, where his work became a vibrant celebration of identity and self expression.
His extraordinary talent has attracted celebrity clients including Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry, who trust him to bring their visions to life.
In 2021, Jean-Baptiste joined Haute Coiffure Française, embracing the challenge of reshaping the prestigious house with his avant garde perspective. Through his Capsules HCF collections he continues to push the boundaries of hair artistry, blending technique with emotion to create unforgettable showcases.
